Announcement: First Keynote speaker revealed!
We couldn't be more excited to finally reveal who is going to open the 12th edition of Berlin Buzzwords! Finding a suitable keynote speaker is always a challenge and especially in year 2 of virtual gatherings not any easier. So we are really happy to announce that Grace Francisco will join us this year!
Grace Francisco is Vice President of Developer Relations & Education at MongoDB with more than 20 years of industry experience. She has taken the road less traveled in her career path, graduating high school early to leave a challenging home situation and completing college over the following ten years while working full time. After several years as an engineer, Grace pivoted directions to technical marketing and pre-sales engineering and soon found herself at Microsoft as a developer evangelist. This was the start of a long career specializing in developer relations. She went on to lead developer relations at Intuit, Yodlee, Atlassian, and Roblox.
Grace has led multiple volunteer-driven diversity initiatives throughout her career, serving as the leader of Women in Tech groups, educational speaker series and an innovative mentoring program to enable and empower more women in the tech field. Her story can be read on the Techies Project. Grace is an advocate for entrepreneurs and has served as an advisor for Startup BootCamp and early-stage startups.
Grace graduated cum laude and holds a BBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University. She also serves on the board of the Drupal Association.
The title of her keynote is: The Reverse Application of R0 in Developer Relations
