Johannes works as Competence Lead for Data Engineering & Data Science for the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group. In this role, he is responsible for the delivery of the data products in the webshop. In the last years, he was the main driver for a new data-driven search engine solution for all saleslines in Europe. Furthermore, he is a committer for Querqy, an open source query rewriting plugin for Solr and Elasticsearch used by various ecommerce companies across the world.
